The Longest Street in the World

Sesame Workshop

Everyone loves Sesame Street, but not everyone knows about its global reach. This interactive table, designed by Second Story Interactive Studios and developed by us, sits in the lobby of the New York City headquarters of Sesame Workshop. Reminiscent of a classic board game, visitors let their fingers be the game pieces, launching videos and information about the Muppets and Sesame Street around the world. The table’s vision technology allowed us to develop software that sees where visitors are standing and orients content toward them.

For a permanent display at the National Children’s Museum in Washington D.C., we adapted the experience for the wall. One big game board spans two monitors mounted at a height accessible for children. This new version includes many more animated illustrations. You know, for kids.
